LOGISTICS COORDINATOR:
As the Logistics Coordinator, you will play a key role in the organization, delivery, and installation of design plan projects by leading the execution of the furniture movement, care, maintenance, and placement on site. You will also be responsible for warehouse organization and management. This position would also support our sister company, Seaport Homes by assisting with material fulfillment and monitoring property progress.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and fulfill inventory transfers for clients
- Review the inventory list and load the moving truck with the necessary items
- Drive the truck to the project site
- Unload the truck
- Participate in the on site implementation of the staging plan
- Return the truck and unload any items to be kept at the warehouse
- Meet with clients to fulfill inventory rentals
- Review client’s list of items for rental
- Provide invoice for rental and schedule delivery
- Deliver and install rental items per plan
- Manage warehouse inventory
- Ensure inventory is in place and organized
- Monitor stock levels- report up when levels on an item are low
- Fulfill requests for new inventory / materials
- Pickup new inventory or materials from retail locations and deliver to warehouse or project sites
- Manage any material deliveries and transfer to job site
- Receive vendor deliveries on site at properties
- Visit property job sites (new construction homes)
- Check on property progress and material needs and report back
Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move furniture (we use lightweight furniture)
- Ability to drive 16′ box truck
- Clean driving record
- High standard of professionalism, as it pertains to interacting with clients and team
- Enthusiastic, motivated, and reliable
- Week day availability
